Under the Sea

This exhibition by Anh Gloux offers a gallery of singular portraits, dedicated to the inhabitants of the marine world.
Fish, octopus, lobster: so many familiar figures reinvented through the delicate art of paper-cutting.
Cut out, superimposed, openworked, these fragile silhouettes give shape to an often invisible biodiversity, revealing textures, movements and personalities specific to each species.
Between the precision of the gesture and the lightness of the material, paper becomes living matter. It evokes the vulnerability of marine ecosystems while celebrating their richness and beauty.
