Imaginary and creative" exhibition of contemporary paintings

The youth hostel invites you to the next vernissage on 09 January at 6pm.

This is an exhibition of abstract paintings by two local artists: Michelle Marc and Marie-Laurence Le Guillou .

Painting career of MICHELLE MARC :

"A self-taught artist, I got into painting late in life through the back door: a taste for contemporary art, courses on discovering painters with the Arénicole Association and then courses for adults at the Beaux-Arts.
courses for adults at the Beaux-arts de Brest, and the big leap into creation,

My practice revolves around acrylics and pastels, and I work mainly with spatulas and knives. I apply the colours,

I trace shapes, I remove, I add, I pass under water, a harmony is created and painting is revealed.

Today, I want to share my paintings, take them on the road, and continue to exchange ideas about creation...

Art heals us from the brutality of the world,

It's more than just what's necessary,

it is food for the imagination".

The career of Marie-Laurence LE GUILLOU

I've always loved painting and drawing,

I became interested in French calligraphy and painting.

Chinese painting and watercolour for over 10 years,

Now I play with colours, which are a way of expressing my feelings.
